The IMPACT Certified Coach

Club coaches who are members of SRVA are required to have their coaches IMPACT Certified.  What does IMPACT stand for? Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory (IMPACT).  Coaches who are IMPACT certified should be making a positive IMPACT on their club, program, staff, and even their parents.  The staff at Tsunami promotes a positive atmosphere where we do not use negative terminaology or behaviors to discipline.  We believe in building self-confidence and a positive outlook which in return will produce skill improvement and a love for the sport.

Jump & Agility Training Partnership with KBH Fitness

We are very excited to announce that we have formed a partnership with KBH Fitness to offer jump training along with agility and strength/conditioning to all our Tsunami participants. Coach Brad Hill, owner of KBH Fitness, is not foreign to the great tenacity required to evolve elite athletic talent.  He focuses on attitude, sportsmanship, proper conditioning, and healthy diet and last but not least lifestyle choices. Coach Brad has done extensive research while obtaining a Master’s degree in Sports & Fitness Management from Troy University. His education and years of experience has given him the needed edge to map out specific planning for individual clients. Athletes from The University of Georgia, Auburn University, Alabama State University, Alabama A&M, Stanford University and Tuskegee University to name a few have benefited greatly in many areas of their lives after being trained and mentored by Coach Brad. He is a very influential trainer dedicated to not only instilling the drive to compete into his clients, but also teach needed values and morals that will accompany them for the rest of their lives. Not only does he train college athletes, but also boys and girls ranging from 8 to 18 who will enjoy the rigorous, mind-blowing workouts compiled by this master of sport specific training. As the Strength and Conditioning coach for various sports at Columbus State University Coach Brad has learned to effectively schedule times to suit the many teams he has to train four to five times per week. Working with teens and young adults over the past ten years Coach Brad has found his true passion in sports but his concern is the empowerment and personal growth. We look forward to our new partnership, helping our players improve their level of fitness, and providing another great opportunity for success to our players.
